UV Mapping

 













I have been working on the UV mapping today, this is the house, roof, door, step and window, I have plenty more left to do however its showing the growth of the house and updating you all on the progress, hopefully by the end of the week I will be able to texture.

Living Room peek

Progress in the modelling department, I am really please how this house is coming together and what Mark has produced, I am still working on the drawing and uv mapping side, hopefully soon there will be a preview of the house in colour.

3D House

 

Mark Shelton my talented friend has started the 3D version of the house I drew for our project. Working in Maya this is the first draft, it still has little details to go with it and once finished will be handed over to me for the UV mapping and texture. I personally couldn't be more thrilled with the House, it is coming into its own style which I love and it seems like an amazing start to the project.

Living Room

 I have started work on the living room this is the layout that I would like the it to be in, I wanted something that was cosy but well presented, I wanted the character to have personality and that is what a house and the rooms inside can give, life to a character. My next move will be the kitchen.

Front view

Well this is the front view of the house to make it better to model in maya, I have sent it to my partner in the project and now I am going to start the inside concept, this will consist of a living room, kitchen, office, bathroom and two bedrooms.
Once the house and interior have been done I will released the first character to the animation.

The first Concept of the House!

Worked on the house these two characters will be living in. I wanted the house to be old and posh but rough around the edges, I put abit of ivy on the side of the house to show it had been there for a while, I think the inspiration came from my own house which is a cottage.

I've sent it to the modeller helping me on this project he thinks it is very doable so with our combined strengths this might actually work lol.

New Project

Since University finished I haven't really been up to much other than job hunting like the  rest of the world, I have helped out on the music video for Mr Hudson with Carse and Waterman company. The picture above is the character I created. Among other things I am still hunting but whilst I'm hunting I am planning on creating an animation to keep the juices flowing in my brain.

So the draft of my next project is going to be called....' The Room mate.' Its a working title so don't scream at me if it changes, I have one modeller invovled as I'm going to need help with such an ambitious projected, Hopefully once it is done I'll enter it into some competitions if there are any out there, obviously this project is my own project and if I do findd a job this will go on the backburner but for entertainment! why not!

Hopefully be back with a new post with some ideas.
